Tonight is one of the best days in sports, the NFL draft. The day where the top college football players find their way into the National Football League. While there is some crazy talk about EDGE rushers and overall secondary talent in this year’s draft, I would like to mention my underrated NFL draft prospect in 2022 that will actually get drafted in the top 14 picks tonight! He is a pass rusher (EDGE rusher) from Purdue, George Karlaftis.
You might be thinking “who”? Well, the future Baltimore Raven. I have Karlaftis surprisingly getting drafted #14 overall to Baltimore in my Cool Sports Network NFL Mock draft episode. Karlaftis deserves this credit though.
Karlaftis, 21, had 4.5 sacks last season at Purdue, including 10 tackles for loss. He led that pass rush to their 1st bowl game in his time with the team.
Karlaftis is projected to get drafted #31 overall to Baltimore’s division rival, the Cincinnati Bengals, according to Mel Kiper Jr. Let’s see how this year’s NFL draft plays. However, if your a fan of the team that drafts George Karlaftis, you should be pretty darn excited!
