Breaking News: Tyreek Hill was traded from Kansas City to Miami!

Earlier today, ESPN, the NFL Network and other sources reported that Tyreek Hill was traded to the Miami Dolphins in exchange for 5 draft picks, including Miami’s 1st round pick (29th overall)!

Earlier this morning, ESPN reported that the Chiefs were in talks with the Jets and Dolphins for the possibility of trading Hill.

Hill, 28, has had a very successful NFL career. He has made 6 Pro Bowls and 3 All Pro teams. He is coming off a season where in 17 games, he put up 111 receptions for 1,239 yards and 9 touchdowns. He was the number one option for Kansas City.

As for Kansas City, Patrick Mahomes still has Travis Kelce (TE), All Pro receiver, on his team. However, the Chiefs are looking for another option. Marquez Valdes-Scantling, 27, is rumored to meet with the Chiefs sometime soon. He is coming off a season where he has 26 receptions for 430 yards and 3 touchdowns. However, he would be a top 2 wide receiver option for Mahomes.

The other option would be Mecole Hardman, 24, who put up 59 receptions for 693 yards and 2 touchdowns. As a fantasy player who had Hardman last season, I am considering keeping him on y if Valdes-Scantling doesn’t go to Kansas City.

For Hill, he won’t have the same quarterback throwing him the ball. Tua Tagovailoa, 24, has been in the NFL for 2 seasons now. The former 5th overall pick had 2,653 yards with a 67.8% completion percentage, 16 touchdowns and 10 interceptions last season.

I am curious how Hill will do with a decline in quarterback and the Chiefs without one of their top 3 players.
