NFL Week 15 Power Rankings! The Eagles are insane, and the Lions are rolling!

Welcome back to another edition of Chase’s Sports News weekly NFL Power Rankings. After a week which brought us an incredible performance from Philadelphia, a week where the Detroit Lions upset a ten win Vikings, and more, we need to the update the power rankings. Where are the Chiefs? Where are the struggling Dolphins? Let’s, get into this!

1. Philadelphia Eagles (12-1) – 48-22 over Giants | Even | Highest Ranking: 1 (Week 15)

The Philadelphia Eagles may be one the most dominant NFL teams in the 21st century. The Eagles just cruised by the Giants like it was the Pro Bowl, going for it 4th and 7’s, putting up 48 on a very underrated defense, etc. Jalen Hurts, who had 294 total yards and three total touchdowns, producing an 109.2 rating just threw the air. Miles Sanders is having the best season he may ever have, after an 144 yard performance on the ground on 17 carries, as he also got in the end zone twice. The Eagles are dominant on all stages of the game (offense, defense, special teams), and are rolling by NFL teams!

Next week matchup: @ Bears

2. Buffalo Bills (10-3) – 20-12 over Jets | Even | Highest Ranking: 1 (Week 9)

The Buffalo Bills, ever since falling to 6-3 and third in the AFC East, have quietly dominated! Josh Allen has been spectacular, throwing for six touchdowns and just one interception over the past four weeks, which have all been Buffalo wins. The defense is playin great despite losing Von Miller, averaging just 11 points allowed since his absence. Oh and don’t forget about Stefon Diggs, who is always great and always never gets enough credit!

Next week matchup: vs. Dolphins (Saturday Night)

3. Cincinnati Bengals (9-4) – 23-10 over Browns | Up 1 | Highest Ranking: 3 (Week 15)

The Cincinnati Bengals, since a very tough 0-2 start, are 9-2 since, and despite losing Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd in this game, they were good enough to win. Joe Mixon and Samaje Perine are one of the best running back duos in the NFL, after running for a combined 118 yards and a touchdown while averaging over 6.5 yards per carry against Cleveland. The defense is starting to get going, after great performances over their past few games, which have been against Derrick Henry, Patrick Mahomes and Deshaun Watson!

Next week matchup: @ Buccaneers

4. Kansas City Chiefs (10-3) – 34-28 over Broncos | Up 1 | Highest Ranking: 1 (Week 13)

The Kansas City Chiefs are always good. Like always! Patrick Mahomes has thrown for 33 touchdowns and has four more games to throw for more. On this pace, he will throw for 43 touchdowns and just 14 interceptions, over a 3.0 TD-INT ratio. Who needs Tyreek Hill, because he’s gotten Travis Kelce into the top five in receiving yards, and it looks like Jerrick McKinnon could even fill that role in a game or two. Give Mahomes five high schoolers at receiver, and he’ll make the playoffs. He is one of the most talented and generational talents the game has ever seen!

Next week matchup: @ Texans

5. San Francisco 49ers (9-4) – 35-7 over Buccaneers | Up 2 | Highest Ranking: 5 (Week 15)

Brock Purdy for MVP! At this rate, anybody can play quarterback for the 49ers, because Brock Purdy just threw for three touchdowns and in his first start, at 22 years old, beat a 23 year veteran in the NFL in Tom Brady, becoming the first player to beat Brady in their first start ever. Christian McCaffrey is unbelievable when on the field, and he is now, and is making a case to maybe be the best running back in the league. And their defense is so good that their interceptions need to be signed by the GOAT himself! Flip 49ers to 94ers, as they sit at 9-4 with a ton of momentum.
